Share your alumni story

Cast your mind back to when you were a KU student. Once you get past all of the wonderful memories of life on the hill, the friendships you made, the victories at Allen Fieldhouse, and the classes that will live with you forever, do you also remember the feelings of uncertainty about what would come beyond graduation? That is the situation many of our current students face.

One way that you can help fellow Jayhawks navigate the question of life beyond KU is by taking over one of our social media accounts and sharing a day-in-the-life in your career. The experiences of our alumni not only provide inspiration for current students but also opens up a world of career possibilities that they may never have considered. This semester we have lined up social media takeovers by alumni working as a editors, academics and teachers but we want show a much wider range of careers. If you are interested in helping, please get in touch by emailing marksheaves@ku.edu.

Here are a few snaps from a recent alumni takeover to give an example of what this might involve:

Alumni Takeover: Jason Kingman, Special Education Facilitator at Lawrence Public Schools. Feb 7, 2017.
